That Old Adage

​The first week of this trading year ended positive. The old adage is that if the first day, the first week, and the first month of trading are positive then so goes it for the year.

On the first day the DOW was up 0.60%, the S&P 500 and the NASDAQ were both up 0.85%.

In the first week the DOW is up 1.02%, the S&P 500 is up 1.70%, and the mighty NASDAQ is up incredibly 2.56%.

Of course we will provide the end of the month data however, we will just have to wait awhile for the end of the year percentages.

ps Last year proved that old adage to be wrong, very wrong.
